Shaun Rogers was born on July 22, 1985, in Baltimore, MD. He began group skating lessons at the age of eight in his hometown of Millersville, MD, after participating in a school skating party. Shaun trains in Newark, Delaware, and represents the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club.
For fun, Shaun likes to hang out with his friends, especially people from the rink, and play video games. His goals later in life are to become a coach, get a Psychology degree, and be a winning poker player.
Shaun received the Presidential Academic Excellence Award (1998) and John Hopkins Award for Academic Excellence in Mathematics (1999). His most prized possessions are his national medals, especially his 2000 U.S. novice gold medal.
